The Newmans' at Indian Bible College

What a year! This past year serving the Lord in Flagstaff, Arizona has seen many things take place. But through it all, God is good!

The year started on a tragic note as one of our freshmen students took her own life on campus. This was a difficult time for all of us. After that tragedy it took a while for Indian Bible College to get back to what might be called “normal.” But we all made it through the semester, hoping that the second semester would be better.

It was. We tried something new by starting the second semester a week later. This gave us the chance to offer two one-week block classes over the winter break instead of only one. This worked out very well, and it allowed IBC to finish a week later so that our graduation did not fall on the same day as the local university (Northern Arizona University). We had an excellent Missions Conference that challenged us to pray for the Muslims around the world. The students went to California for their Mission Immersion Trip and ministered to the Soboba tribe.

For Graduation we were blessed to have four (4) Bachelor Graduates (the most in a long time), plus graduates in our Associates, Bible Certificate, and Christian Ministry Certificate Programs as well. It was quite the time of celebration. We were also able to produce our very first journal of student work, which has been a dream for quite some time!

You are a part of all of this! By partnering with us in prayer and regular financial support you are touching the lives of these students and making an eternal impact!

At home we are all busy: Dawn continues to homeschool Hannah, Rebecca will be attending Bible college in the fall, and Joshua is working in the IT field. We also continue to serve and minister at Calvary Bible Church (Kevin preaching and teaching, Dawn teaching Sunday School, and Joshua playing the keyboard).

Thank You for giving to the Lord! May God continue bless you richly!
